And we thought China taxi drivers were crazy! NY cabbies bet them hands down - if the road has 5 lanes, make sure you use them (and that includes using the off ramps as passing bays!). We decided to look out the side windows. Julian was on my lap and was giggling the whole way!
The apartment is in an awesome location in Greenwich village and everything is seriously close by:

We needed milk so headed to Whole Foods Market at Union Square - think Thomas Dux at Thomas Dux prices. Nice range of prepared foods. We ended up skipping all of that and have bread and vegemite for dinner (vegemite was from the Qantas lounge in LA. It was for Julian you understand!
